Pond Covers

Rennie Macintosh

The result of this first piece of work is fabulous, even though I do say so myself!!  It has two functions apart from being rather lovely to look at; it prevents the local heron from stealing the fish and it provides a safe cover for the pond in case of falls or trips by the owners.  The steel is set on its edge which makes it much lighter to look at but also makes it very strong.  The client wanted something designed in the Charles Rennie Macintosh style and they were very pleased with the result. Apologies for the rogue gallery, please bear with me.

Circles Cover

This one included leaving the beach section of the pond free for hedgehogs to access the water.  The other part of it was to stop anyone falling in the water. They wanted an open but interesting design.

'D' shaped cover

I thoroughly enjoyed making this pond cover, it was quite a challenge to get it to fit perfectly.  The client required it to be removable so it was made in three sections.  Powder coated finish to last.

One left to rust....

This was a nice simple one, no finish required as the client wanted a rusted finish.  The purpose was to save their toddler from falling into the pond.

Arches

Rose arches

A selection of rose arches, ranging from quite elaborate to very simple.  All lovely.

Screens

A variety of screens can be produced to separate spaces within gardens or enclose a space.  The curvy one surrounds a hot tub, making it feel more like a room.
